Trend setter in magazine journalism
Beginning to edit at the age of fifteen, he left behind in Orissa the trend-setting “Diganta” that was taken over by the foremost poet in Odia, Sochi Routroy. Manoj Das also edited “Agamee” in Odia. Later he edited “Sri Aurobindo’s Action”, “World Union” – and last but not the least the internationally acclaimed monthly “The Heritage”. He was also the Editorial Adviser for the English “Chandamama”, then Asia’s largest circulated children’s magazine.
